I‘ve enjoyed the rum there for years now and the food is outstanding in every way.
So this last visit to celebrate my birthday was definitely the best yet. Always be sure to call ahead, the food is so fantastic that they frequently fill up with reservations early in the evening. When Sebastián found out it was my birthday he first gave me a complimentary glass of Tamarind Rum, my personal favorite and then I had the “I Want it All” with mushrooms, tofu, and sausage. My wife had one of the fish dishes and my children loved the creole sausages. Ialmost didn’t have room for the wonderful dessert! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. A mojito and a tamarind rum are the perfect drinks for turning 33!
Excellent place for amateurs of Rum and French cuisine especially Creole from Reunion island.
The rougaille saucisse is a must to taste.along with a good home distilled rum.

I love rum and when my friend suggested dinner at Georges Restaurant I was keen. We were not disappointed. George (the father, from ReunionIsland) started making rum because he missed it. He has created a large range of flavoured rums. We loved the kaffir lime infused rum. His son Sebastian is the chef and he cooks amazing food. The sausages are superb!!! Handmade by him. There is a dish with an unusual ingredient called “electric soup”. Please try it. I don’t want to spoil the surprise by revealing what the “electric” refers to. Highly recommended food and drink experience.
